SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Seeking a Senior Accountant with at least 5+ years experience in Multi Family, Property Management, or Real Estate Accounting, to work under the direction of the President of the Company. The successful candidate will manage the financial reporting of 13 investment grade multifamily properties located in the Midwest and Florida.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete daily cash functions to include account tracking, payroll and wage allocations
- Cash and banking reconciliations
- Providing timely reporting to the outside CPA Firm
- Property tax reporting
- Oversight of the accounts payable clerk
- Invoice Coding and review
- Track and record expenses and reconcile accounts to maintain accurate, current and compliant financial records
- Interactions with tax authorities and legal concerns related to financial matters
- Cash receipts and accounts payables payments
- Maintaining, updating and submitting financial reports to the President of the company
- Maintaining capital project files
- Develop and maintain a system of cash forecasting
- Review and preparation of month end financial statements
- Preparation of month end financial statements
- Data entry of all financial information, journal entries
- Quarterly reporting to 3rd party lenders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with an analytical methodology
- Ability to maintain confidentiality on all assignments
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, and professional demeanor
- Highly focused with a great attention to detail
- Microsoft Products; Excel, Word, Outlook
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to define and analyze problems and develop timely and effective solutions
- Demonstrate skills in planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting
- Experience with Property Management a plus
- Intuit Quick Books experience a plus
